A few of us got together late on Friday to discuss a few ideas that might make it easier for High School students to prepare for their high school prom. Prom season can be stressful for any high school student as well as the parents that are usually caught up in the paying and prom planning mix. We decided that it might be somewhat helpful if we posted a High School Prom Checklist, hopefully our little checklist reduces some of the stress and frustration that goes hand-in-hand with planning a high school prom.
High School Prom Checklist
- Find out what your high school prom date is.
- Discuss how much money your parents are willing to spend.
- Be prepared to start saving money now.
- Discuss your prom plans with your parents.
- Shop for a prom dress or prom tuxedo to rent.
- Consider accessories to match your dress and your dates attire.
- Decide on a date and place to have your hair and nails done.
- Discuss prom limousine transportation and reserve a limo.
- Break in your prom shoes before the actual day of your high school prom.
- Purchase tickets to your prom.
