Limousine Rental Tips

by Insane Limos on December 7, 2008 Post

One of the most important things when renting a limousine service for a few hours or even for an entire week of limo rental is knowing all of the details before you agree to rent from a Limousine company. There are many ways that various Limousine companies choose to charge for their Limo services and we respect each and every one of them, we also think it’s important that customers know exactly what to expect when renting a limousine for a wedding or special occasion. Out of all the various ways that a Limousine provider might charge a customer there are three that stand out as the most common Limousine rental pricing structures. Below you will see Limousine Rental Tips based on the various pricing structures used by Limousine Chauffeurs.

Limousine Rental Price Per Hour + 25% Gratuity:

This is one of the most common if not thee most common pricing structure used by Limousine rental companies in the Tampa Bay area and around the entire United States. All though Insane Limos DOES NOT utilize this particular pricing structure we thought it would be important to show this pricing structure and what it means to the Limo customer. Below you will see an example of this Limousine pricing structure and again we remind you THIS IS NOT the pricing structure used by Insane Limos.

SUV Limousine Rental $125 per hour X average 6 hour rental + 25% Gratuity = $937.50 Total Price or $156.25 per hour

Limousine Rental Price Per Hour + 25% Gratuity +10% SPC Charge:

This also seems to be a very common limosine rental pricing structure, all though Insane Limos DOES NOT utilize this pricing structure either. This particular pricing structure for renting a limousine can quickly add to your average charge and most importantly your overall cost for renting a limousine. Below you will find a pricing structure that shows what the overall additional cost to a Limousine rental customer would be, again please note Insane Limos DOES NOT utilize this pricing structure.

SUV Limousine Rental $125 per hour X average 6 hour rental + 25% Gratuity + 10% SPC = $1012.50 Total Price or $168.75 per hour

Flat Rate Pricing Limousine Rental Price Per Hour:

This is one of the least common forms of limousine pricing structures you will find being used by limousine rental companies in Florida as well as the entire country. This IS the billing structure used by Insane Limos for billing our Limousine Services to our customers. With this particular billing structure there is not much that the customer would need to guess or many suprises that the customer could be concerned about seeing on their Credit Card statement at the end of the month. The reason being is that this particular rental billing practice states a price up front per hour that a Limousine is rented and that is it, normal overage charges would apply as they would in any of the above scenarios. Below you will find a Flat Rate Billing structure, which again IS THE BILLING STRUCTURE USED BY INSANE LIMOS.

SUV Limousine Rental $125 per hour = $750.00 Total Price or $125.00 per hour

Now as you can see out of the three most popular billing structures used by just about all of our competitors and most limousine rental companies in Florida the one that offers the best value to the customer is of course the Flat Rate Billing structure. This is an excellent billing structure because it allows the customer to know exactly what they will be charged for their Limousine ride or special occassion. Flat rate Billing is used by Insane Limos in order to take away any of the suprises or silly extra charges that you can often find when renting a limousine for the night.

Please be educated when renting a Limousine for your Party, Night out, Wedding or Special occassion and if you ever have any questions please call Insane Limos 727-584-8888 we are more than willing to answer any question you might have.
